Pink Smokey Eyes

My sister and I are going to a friend's house to watch the premiere of their first 15-minute short film. I had a lot of extra time to kill so I thought I'd experiment with the mac: sushi flower eyeshadow that my sister bought me a while ago.

Watched a couple of youtube videos for inspiration and then moved it upstairs to my bathroom to try it out for myself. Really happy with the results!

Yeah, I know, it looks more purple than pink. Apparently pink is difficult to capture on camera and video!
How do you like the new ingredient outline diagrams?

Hello Kitty Trial #2

A lighter version, using the light purple, grey and dark purple from my new hello kitty palette. :) Wish the pictures had turned out better. It's a lot prettier in real life. Eyeliner: Sephora Kohl waterproof black liner, Mascara: Neutrogena waterproof mascara. Still experimenting. Suggestions welcome!

Hello Kitty Trial #1

A darker look using my new hello kitty palette from the last post. :) I used both purples and the black eyeshadow to do this. The eyeliner is the green tokidoki "marker" eyeliner, mascara is the L'oreal Lash Extend (which straightens out my eyelashes, which is a bummer!) and my eyebrows are filled in with a Clinique product that my sister bought me a looong time ago. :)

Hello Kitty Palette

So I treated myself to my first Hello Kitty makeup purchase to celebrate my first 5lbs lost on Weight Watchers. Yay me! It was $35, with four eyeshadows and four lip glosses on the bottom. I love it, it's so chunky and cute. I'm experimenting with what I can do using only these eyeshadow colors. Stay tuned!

County Fair Makeup

Went with my dad and brother to the county fair in a neighboring city on Saturday. I knew it would be hot and we'd be walking around and sweating by the end of it, so I decided to go light on the makeup just to avoid any hassle.

Believe it or not, it's only two colors. Tokidoki light brown and Urban Decay purple sparkle. Sephora kohl black eyeliner and Neutrogena Mascara.
